A new concept created by Chef Royce. It's soul food restaurant offering an elevated experience. We are located in the historic Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Join us for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. If you don't see the seat you want available online, please give us a call. We will be happy to make you a reservation.

                                                  The restaurant is very intimate. The owner and staff make you feel like family. The food was beyond delicious! If my waistline would allow, I would eat here every day!

                                                  The food was AMAZING! We had the collard green dip which was so good.. I ordered the catfish with mac and sweet potatoes… fish was seasoned perfectly… the sides were great. My sister ordered the hot honey fried chicken which was very good! We can’t wait to come back.

                                                  The food was great. The catfish was crispy, lite and delicious. The cornbread was moist and cooked just right. The ribs were tender and had a unique, savory flavor. The restaurant was quiet and the ambience was peaceful and comfortable. The waitstaff were thoughtful, attentive, hospitable, and friendly. I really enjoyed myself.

                                                  Had an absolutely amazing experience. Staff was so nice and welcoming. Food was even better. Chef Royce came and introduced herself to our table and made us feel right at home. This restaurant is definitely a go-to. Tens across the board

                                                  It was phenomenal. Quaint establishment but in no way is the food compromised! Everything we had was amazing!! From the drinks from the bartender to the appetizer (especially the baked collard green dip), to our meals! We couldn’t stop talking about it the next day! The vibe was on point and our server was spectacular! If you want an elevated experience while dining on soul food, this is the place!!!

                                                  This was my first time eating at Soul Prime and it did not disappointed. The service was great and the food was on point!!! Love the atmosphere as well! I will definitely be going back soon!

                                                  The food was just okay. It was quite expensive for what we ate. The music was loud and it was difficult to have a conversation. They had issues regulating the heat. While the service was great, everything else was not.
