                                                                    The Grouper and the Mahi Mahi were way overcooked and dry. The filet was cooked ok. Not a good value. Server had too many tables and was stressed. We had a party of 5. Won't go back.

                                                                    As always, the food was great. And the service on the food was terrific. Our last couple of visits, though, the service has not been what we were accustomed to. They did make an adjustment for our drink order that took more than 20 minutes to deliver. Perhaps a sign of the times?

                                                                    Had a nice dinner of Salmon and Mahi along with spinach risotto and green beans. We had a bottle of red wine from France. It went very well with our delectable seafood dishes. The ambience of the restaurant and suburb service was a nice touch. I’ve been to South Fork on many occasions and it doesn’t disappoint.

                                                                    On a cold night in January, we were seated in an adjoining room which is being converted to be part of South Fork. The temperature there was much nicer than in the 65 degree room, and the hostess seated us there for that reason. She went above and beyond making sure her guests were comfortable. Food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely.

                                                                    Our server was fabulous. There were eight of us from Maine, Connecticut, New Jersey, Michigan, California, and Belgium. She didn’t rush us, easily accommodated our request for separate checks, food was served hot, drinks were served cold…what more can one ask for!
