   This was my first experience at South Village Grill and I'll half to say it was very underwhelming for the quality of the items we ordered. The Brussel Sprouts were undercooked and did not have any pecans as noted in the menu. I ordered Sushi and was later notified that they were out of rice and would need 20 additional minutes and wanted to know if I would like to order something else. In the meantime my wife's order was delivered to the table and I waited and additional 20 minutes for a salad with grilled salmon that was well done when I ordered medium rare. The staff was very apologetic and professional for these mishaps. I would like to try again to give the South Village Grill a second chance.

   Really good food and inventive cocktails. Desserts are delicious. Oysters were ok , large and meaty but some looked mangled by whoever was shucking them. Salmon and short rib were perfectly cooked. Mushroom toast was a great appetizer..

   We thoroughly enjoyed the South Village Grille. It is quaint, nicely decorated, and the service was outstanding. The food was delicious! We took advantage of Happy Hour with the well-priced cocktails, wines and appetizers. The meatballs are phenomenal! We finished dinner with a plate of beignets which were delicious! We will come back again!

   SÚPER DISAPPOINTED that they changed the menu and basically went from an array of sushi choices to just a few options. I had looked forward to the "Joe vs the Volcano" sushi only to find out it was no longer available...many more sushi options cut from menu...i always liked taking friends here because of the many sushi options, but now this place has just become like others...SAD!! I REALLY HOPE management reconsiders bringing at least some of the more popular choices!!

   We love the South Village Grille! It's so warm and inviting and I love how the entire staff acknowledges you. I felt like a Malbec before dinner; of course, they had it. I had the Carbonara and it was a delicious and manageable portion. My sister had the fish sandwich, without the bun. Yes, they accommodated her. The night was made truly pleasant by our server, Sarah. Thank you for being so attentive, friendly, and on the ball.

   This was our first time dining at South Village. The food was amazing and Max was such an engaged and excellent server. We look forward to next time!
