Aptly named for its locale, Southern Social nestles up to the old Southern Railway’s historic Germantown Depot and sits adjacent to Southern Avenue.

Owners of downtown Memphis’ Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar have opened Southern Social. The top tier fine dining restaurant will reflect the high standards established at Flight.

    Great appetizers and salads. The eggplant ravioli was overly sauced and loaded with cheese. Couldn’t appreciate the eggplant

    It was my birthday dinner and it was wonderful from the food to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and my waitress Hailey was truly amazing. This was my first time there but it will not be my last. Thank you for the amazing experience.

    Brooklyn is a top notch server. She was engaged and responsive. She anticipated our needs and made sure to circle around frequently to check in on us.

    Food was perfect. Excellent variety to choose from. Although the restaurant was packed, our table was ready within 10 minutes of arrival. service was above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend server Carmelo Burrafato.

    Updated: Appreciate Chris (Manager) calling to discuss our experience so that they can use this as an opportunity to train the staff. With the quick response, I have update my stars, according. Normally one of our favorite restaurants. May have had an off night. Food was fine. Wine flights came out after we were done with main course.

    The service was reminiscent of how fine dining used to be and is supposed to be. You don’t see that much anymore. The food was equally as good!

    Kaitlyn was an amazing sweet and very cool server. she helped us every step of the way and gave such great recommendations. the food was incredible, great flavor and exceeded expectations. we will definitely be back.
