First visit with friends. All our menu selections were superb. Friendly staff, good table (booth) will return soon.

Staff were polite and helpful. Food, tagliatelle was awful, cold plate cold food, first time in my life I have returned cold food. Chicken Satay starter was also awful. Onions dressing the rice was the best thing. Boiled strips of chicken in a sauce lacking any flavour and as thin as water. Stand out was deserts of bread and butter pudding and apple crumble with a rum and raisin ice cream packed with rum Sorry, your food let you down.

The service was great, the food was afforable, their veggie breakfast was great but their apply crumble was horrible. The apples were still sour, it was runny and the ice cream wasn’t enough for the whole apply crumble. There also more apple than crumble.

Lovely staff, food was great and a really nice atmosphere. Dog friendly too which is good.

Booked after seeing a review that said there were good gluten free options. Very misleading there were not. Beetroot salad , or steak and chips. Really disappointing. Very average dishes for non gluten free guests.

We had a very enjoyable pre-theatre dinner at Southpour. The service was very good, and the menu offered something for everyone. If we’d known how generous the portions were, we probably wouldn’t have ordered starters and mains, and there was certainly no room for pudding. Overall, a very good experience.

I really love Southpour, it’s a great place which is modern & cosy. Staff are always polite & attentive, and there’s always a good choice of food & cocktails (my favourite). On a good bus route, which is great if you’re heading into town afterwards or for getting back to the suburbs.
