Located in the city of Hamburg, Opitz Restaurant is an attractive dining option for locals and tourists alike. Situated in a prime location close to the Ernst German Theatre and the Mundsburger dam, Opitz has made a name for itself thanks to its diverse menu and excellent service. Opitz's menu consists of numerous dishes, including Labskaus with fried eggs, steak and potatoes and homemade fruit jelly all made from local and seasonal produce. Guests are welcome to enjoy their meals either inside the cozy and intimate dining room or outside on the beautifully landscaped patio.

Wir wurden gut bedient (!) und bestellten Grünkohl. Leider kamen mir die Zutaten, wie das für die Bratkartoffeln verwendete Fett, die Qualität der Wurst sowie der Grundgeschmack des Grünkohls (wobei natürlich Geschmackssache) eher weniger wertig vor. Für ein Restaurant, dass sich die Hausmannskost auf die Fahnen schreibt, schade. Bei den aufgerufenen Preisen (ca. 24€ die, wohlgemerkt recht große, Portion), m.E. nicht befriedigend.

Eigentlich ein schönes Konzept, gute norddeutsche Küche, in schummerig-gemütlichem Ambiente, in Alsternähe. Da dürfte man auch die - gehobenen- Preise verlangen, wenn die Qualität stimmen würde. Wenn die Roulade aber hoffnungslos trocken und zäh ist, viel Salz und viel Fett die einzigen Prinzipien der Küche zu sein scheinen und einem die sehr rotweinige Sauce noch den ganzen nächsten Tag hoch kommt, dann stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht mehr. In der Küche sollte sich etwas ändern, damit dieser schöne Laden, mit schöner Atmosphäre und sehr nettem Service-Personal erhalten bleibt.

Das Essen war lecker, hervorragend. Die Bewirtung war exzellent und sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente war gemütlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen👍
