Spiaggetta, our namesake, means " little beach" in Italian.
Classic Italian dishes and culinary specialties from the city of Rome.
Since 2012 , we go through great lengths to ensure an authentic experience, from hand making our own pastas, to sticking to traditional Italian kitchen rules when we source only the best, freshest local ingredients for their flavor. The Tarantino family excitedly welcomes you to their roomy " trattoria" either outdoor ( seasonal ) or in the comfortable dining rooms. Our spacious restaurant's banquet room can accomodate you and 99 of your closest friends to celebrate any special event. Marco Tarantino and his team prepare delicious Branzino, his mother's potatoes gnocchi and he dishes the best Cacio e Pepe and Carbonara in South Jersey. When you are here, it feels like you are on in Rome dining with your friends and family. Spiaggetta is a BYOB restaurant. We can't wait to seat you!

    Food wise we had another good meal at Spiaghetta. It was a Jazz night. The music was great and we enjoyed the experience immensely. Our issue was with our server who was essentially non-existent. We recognize that all her other tables were on the opposite side of the dining room but it created a frustrating experience for us. When our first courses and entrees were brought to the table no one came to ask if we wanted ground pepper or if we needed anything else. I finally asked some bus person for ground pepper. Then after dinner. the Server later brought cappuccino we ordered, but never asked if any sweetener was needed. Despite waving, standing up, etc our server never recognized us as she was talking to people at another table across the room. Finally after 10 minutes and the cappuccino cooling we were able to get her attention. We have eaten at Spiaghetta many times since it opened many years ago and this was our first bad service issue. Although Marco was there when we arrived, he left and that may have attributed to the poor experience. We will return and hope we get the standard high quality service

    Food and service were very good. The ambience was somewhat outdated with a mix of canned lights and other small lights on the ceiling. Music was very good but too loud. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would go again.

    Bella, our server was wonderful and engaging and provided great tips about the selections without pushing to any specific item. The food was delicious and filling.
