   Spoon and Spindle has a new spring menu from a newly promoted Head Chef. The food is better than ever, and I adore the new wild mushroom frittata. From brunch to dinner, this is still the best spot in all of central Virginia.

   Lovely small restaurant. Food was delicious. I had the grilled chicken sandwich; my husband had the steak frites. Friends had the large salad and the garlic noodles bowl. Our server was extremely attentive. The noise level, particularly for those of us with hearing aids, can be high as the ceiling is high. We always enjoy meeting there for lunch.

   We loved that the chef took great care regarding food allergies & paid attention to any indications via Open Table! The food was absolutely delicious and don’t skip out on the candied jalapeños that come with the Beet Margarita!!

   Had lunch on Thursday went back for dinner on Saturday and going again tonight for dinner. Just a superb little bistro restaurant. Great flavors and well prepared dishes. Great value and good portions.

   This was my first time here, we enjoyed it very much. Beautiful dining room, good taste in music, excellent service and food. Definitely will be back. The chef's special was great, as was the bread pudding.

    Everything at this place is great. Brussels sprouts appetizer, shrimp étouffée and short rib main courses, and bananas foster bread pudding and chocolate torte for desserts. They were all excellent dishes. The gal running the place (maybe the owner?) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful as well. Will definitely be back if we’re this way again.
