Spoon & Spindle is located in historic Orange, Virginia in a nearly 100 year old silk mill. Spearheaded by Chef Zachary Andrews, Spoon & Spindle serves seasonal menus for brunch, lunch, & dinner as well as ever-updating craft cocktails, local wines, and unique beers. Our current menu includes fan favorites like the Quail Lewis, a Manchester Farms quail dish honoring Chef Edna Lewis and her contributions to southern cuisine. Our current Chef's Specials also include Beef Wellington, Southern Fish & Chips, soul-warming Pot Pie Skillet, and much more. Our popular brunch menu includes favorites like the Hangover Hash, Biscuit Benedict, Breakfast Burritos, Chocolate Cremeux Crepes, and much, much more.                                                         Food was good and the waitress was a peach. Would I go there again? Yes. It is a little tricky to find.

                                                        Second visit to Spoon & Spindle and it was excellent again. Had brunch. Fried Green Tomatoes were outstanding. Drinks were excellent and main course were delicious. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

                                                        Our ladies group thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Spoon and Spindle today. We were treated like vip's and the food was delicious. The service was great and we will definitely visit again.

                                                        Excellent food and service in this gem that is tucked away in the lovely town of Orange, VA. Staff was so friendly, relaxed and professional! Food was yummy and especially note that the french fries (which i believe are hand-cut) were HOT, delicious and a generous portion. Had the BanM. chicken sandwich and meat was tender and flavorful, but not overstuffed -- proportion and ratio of filling to bread was perfect. In a time when food is expensive and often inconsistent, this was a hit!

                                                        The restaurant is small and friendly. The staff is attentive and helpful. We had crab cakes, a salad and pork and all were excellent. By 7pm it was packed - many regulars- so clearly we are not the only ones who like it. It is casual rather than fancy which also appeals to us.

                                                        We had a wonderful time at Spoon and Spindle. We went for dinner on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was not overwhelmed with guests. The food was absolutely wonderful. The Bonsai Brussels sprouts, the Shiozake salmon and the steak frites were all excellent. And equally remarkable was the attentiveness of the friendly staff members. We were very happy with our experience, and will come back if we are in this area.

                                                        Great dinner and ambience! Food is unique and delicious and priced very fairly. Can be a bit noisy on weekends but worth it! Suggest making a reservation on weekends!

                                                        We love the local ambiance of this little spot. The staff was outstanding in spite of being very busy. The food was very good, with a mix of Asian and New Orleans with a few "hand-helds." However, this menu is not for your basic meat and potatoes diner...it is innovative but for us there weren't many choices that appealed. We had the short ribs, which were very good and the pork loin, which we also enjoyed. I do recommend the deserts very highly. The beignets are not to be missed, as we've never seen them any where else. The flourless chocolate torte was absolutely amazing and big enough to share. The Trifle fell short, however. We miss their old Friday pasta specials.
