My wife and I went with our friends; we were able to share a couple of appetizers (the octopus and the pate). My wife and I then shared the seared duck breast. Our friends had the polenta and the scallops. Since we all shared a couple of bites, I can say that all dishes were excellent. Our server, Nick, was great; very professional, attentive, and friendly. We will come back!

One of the best steak frites I have ever had. And the special risotto was excellent too.

I’ve been meaning to get into this restaurant since it opened and finally made it in. The food was fabulous. Highest quality ingredients. The Duck Pate was so yummy, I can wait to go again for that starter. I had the Duck breast and my husband had the special of the night which was a mushroom risotto and both of us totally enjoyed our entrees. The homemade sorbet was so special and a great way to end the meal. Oh and the wine list, well priced and a great variety.

Delicious duck, sea scallops and chocolate and berry pot de creme. Beautifully plated, attentive waitperson. Worth driving the 2.5 hours to Pacific Grove for this meal. Excellent.

We tried this restaurant for the first time, and were very pleased. The pricing on various items were very reasonable. Some of the dishes we enjoyed were excellent, others were good. There was a very rowdy group in the restaurant that made it incredible difficult to hear, but once they left the volume was better and you could hear the restaurants music playing. We will definitely return!

A labor of love from the Chef and Partner makes for a lovely dining experience. Truly great value, well crafted food preparation with complex flavors. Menu writing and execution are flawless.

My friends and I really liked this restaurant. Great food, particularly the skillet duck and the scallops. If I had to make one complaint, it would be that they need to have a full bar. If they had some really great cocktails, it would be next level.

The duck breast is the best we’ve had anywhere! And my caramelized scallops were fantastic! Also had the steamed mussels and the broth was so good that I brought the leftover sauce home. We love that place and will definitely be going back. We also highly recommend the duck liver pate as an appetizer with delicious Ad Astra toasted bread!

The food was excellent. I had the duck breast and my husband had the steak. We shared the grilled octopus. And we shared the fig/plum sorbet. We couldn’t try many of the item on the menu due to our dietary restrictions but the server was very good at helping us navigate the menu. We will go back.

Well prepared food and attentive service. Anson, our server, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. The duck breast and scallops were wonderfully prepared and the sweet potato salad combined some interesting ingredients for a delicious starter. Well curated and reasonably priced wines. Would definitely come back.
