                                                                                                                                          This was the first time that my wife and I have ever gone to St. Paul Fish Company & our experience was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door. The Host treated us like we were regulars that had come there repeatedly, the server was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and super sweet, our food came out faster than we had expected and was absolutely fantastic! I had the Shrimp PoBoy & Lobster Tail on a Stick & my wife had an East Coast Crab Roll & Lobster Bisque Soup… Everything was FANTASTIC! When the server heard it was my birthday, she said I could pick an ice cream and came out with my ice cream which they make and had a candle lit on it for me too! Their Small Batch Scratch made ice cream is delightful!!! Super awesome experience and we’ll definitely go back again when we come back to the area!!!

                                                                                                                                          We ordered deep fried calamari for an appetizer, but accidentally got deep fried oysters. It was difficult to tell that they were not calamari, so my 65 year old husband ate ONE. That evening he woke up violently ill, and spent the next 6 hours with a less than pleasant evening. He was close to asking me to take him to the hospital. None of us ate them, so we had no problems. He has no allergies to oysters, but after he ate it he said “those are horrible”, and rightfully so. I’m hoping others did not have the same experience. We will continue to come back to the restaurant in time, because it’s been consistently good. We will never order oysters, nor recommend them to anyone.

                                                                                                                                          We had a very good dinner at St.Paul Fish Company and the service was excellent. Our two entrees were the Walleye Fish Fry and the Grilled Salmon. The only thin that could have been done better was the grilled vegetables with the salmon, because they were very overdone and mushy. The fish was done to perfection in both entrees.

Miss the old days of French fries and the lobster intact and not pre-cracked. Also, my lobster had to have been barely a pound. Still, very good and will return.
