Our friendly waiter was Tommy and he was great. I had the Perch fish fry and my wife had the lobster tail special for Valentine's Day. Both were great. Looking forward to our next time.

                                                                                                                                          Absolutely fantastic king crab dinner, and it didn’t cost a fortune. Service was excellent and the whole very crowded place was running like clockwork. Very attentive staff, excellent food.

                                                                                                                                          Disappointing Experience at Saint Paul’s Fish We visited Saint Paul’s Fish in Mequon last night for a 7:30 PM reservation. Upon arrival at 7:16, we checked in with the concierge and were told our table would be ready at the reserved time. We grabbed a drink at the bar, where the noise level was extremely loud. By 7:20, I received a text that our table was ready. Unfortunately, we were seated at the smallest table possible in the entire restaurant. While I understand they were busy, my husband and I enjoy ordering multiple appetizers, oysters, and entrées, which require more space than a tiny table that barely accommodates two plates and drinks. As for the food, it was a mixed experience. The barbecue shrimp was fantastic, as always. However, the salmon crack was completely different from what we’ve had before—it had an odd, overly wet texture that we didn’t enjoy. My husband said the oysters were good. For our entrées, I ordered the grilled jumbo shrimp, but what I received was far from jumbo. The shrimp were small, barely warm, and barely grilled—each piece had maybe two faint grill marks. The taste was disappointing, more like boiled shrimp than grilled. My husband had the sole piccata and said it was absolutely wonderful. Will I go back? Probably, because my husband enjoys it. Do I want to go back? Not really. For the price, I expected better, and I left feeling hungry and unimpressed.

Our favorite appetizers are the Buffalo cheeks and scallop bites. Their perch fry is excellent, as is their blackened fish dishes! Our waitress was also great, friendly, and efficient.
