Specializing in steaks and seafood, Stakeout Dining Room and Lounge in Stouffville, Ontario serves its patrons some of the best prime rib, beef and seafood dishes in the area. With a reputation for top food served with care and attention in its excellent, cozy dining space, Stakeout is sure to please even the most demanding meat eater. All the steaks at Stakeout are aged a minimum of 28 days and hand-selected to ensure you get the best cut possible. Lunch and dinner are served and you can order a la carte or at dinner as part of a set menu. First time eating at Stakeout as we wanted to try something new. The food was good, but not worth the expense, not comparable to the Keg or similar chain restaurant. The lights in the dining room were constantly flickering. The staff were friendly but not overly helpful. Did not ask us if we wanted more drinks after our first order. I ordered my steak medium rare, but it came out well done. Had to wait for the kitchen to fix it, and the second one came undercooked, but at that point I didn't want to wait any longer to eat so I just accepted it. My husband's steak was also overcooked from what he ordered, but he ate it anyway. Otherwise the food was good. Got the impression they catered to an older crowd.

Had a party of four. They also changed our request to have dinner at the bar area. Shrimp cocktail was the largest and best we ever had. Food was impeccable The service was also spot on. Can’t wait to go again. Soon!

We were looking for a more traditional steak house experience and were very happy. Steak was perfectly cooked to order, they delivered perfect medium and medium rare. The entree prices seem a little high until you see that it includes soup or salad. Great service, great ambiance, we will go back.

Surprised at the quality of the beef for that price. Also, cook was a bit off. Asked for med-rare and it came more medium. Ordered the 12oz ribeye. Aps were incredible. Service was very good!

Great food and very good service. We weren’t rushed at all and able to take our time and enjoy the night out. If you are looking for Fine dining this is the place.
