The service and food were excellent. The only small nit was the hot plate slightly overcooked my steak.

beautiful space, very large, some areas are more desirable than others--the back rooms feel like you're not part of the restaurant. seats are not particularly comfortable the tables too high for seat height. nice low lighting and many upgraded surfaces throughout. music is one of the worst playlists for this type of restaurant, so yesterday, not cool or sophisticated. lots of upsell by waiters and appetizers can easily be shared by 2--info not shared by waiter. most of the food is very good, the lobster roll is excellent. corkage fee is high, $85, but i had to request to server that i would like them to pour the wine and keep an eye on empty glasses. all staff are friendly and knowledgeable. we were seated in a back area small room, asked for a different table in the area between bar and windows, which they moved us--there were many tables available--why weren't we automatically seated in best available?

They forgot to mention my celebration :( and my daughter and I thought the corn was just … corn. Steak was good! Would go again!

Amazing service and food! Love that every person greets you when you’re being seated. Love that the manager makes sure everything was great! This steakhouse is above most steakhouses.

My steak was just OK, kind of stringy. Definitely not in the same class as Eddie V's or Ruth's Chris. The server was ridiculous, cringe worthy and tone deaf. If he said, 'isn't that the best you've ever tasted' one more time I was going to tell him the truth, No, it's a little below average. The bread tasted like Pillsbury biscuits. The whole experience was bizarre. The music selection was irritating and too loud. Who puts two big TV's in the middle of a high end restaurant? Zero ambiance.

Recommend Steak 48 highly! The food was superb, service excellent! Visiting from the East coast… the best filet I’ve had in quite a while! Try the crispy shrimp appetizer… delicious! Also… huge martinis.. and sooo good! Definitely expensive, but so worth it for a special occasion!

Our waiter, Dylan, our food, and just the all-around ambience is something we both treasure – – always will be a special occasion place. And it was my bad I did not ask the price of the special – – cause I was horrified to find out the steak was $175 – – but I laid that on me— though I do wish they would give the price when telling the specials. My take away as I should always ask.
