Steak & Whisky is a decidedly Californian take on the American Tavern featuring classic American dishes with a modern twist.
Join us for nightly dinner or weekend happy hour, a cozy night out with friends or simply a weeknight meal, Steak & Whisky brings exceptional ingredients and attention to detail to every dining experience.

Each cut of meat has been hand-selected from a single-source herd of cattle to give you the highest quality meat available. Smoked Pork Meatballs, S&W Dry Aged Burger, as well as a selection of quality steaks.

Enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail, 100 plus curated whiskey list, or one of our many by-the-glass wines, a selection from our chef-driven menu, and the cozy ambiance of our intimate dining room. Signature dishes include our Seared Scallops, Butter-Poached Whole Lobster, and our hand-selected steaks, including the Tomahawk, Filet Mignon, and Prime Porterhouse.

                                                                                                I want to love this place- but I just can’t. The front of the house is great- loved the hostess and our server. Drinks were fantastic. The food - sucked . I ordered a strip for 68 bucks and got a piece of meat that looked like it escaped from a sizzler. Cold sides. Really bad kitchen performance. Love the whiskey food boarders on inedible. They should replace the chef - start over and get it right.

The ambiance is terrific, the food is top-notch, and the service is impeccable. If you want a lovely night out in Hermosa at a high-end steak restaurant, please choose Steak and Whisky.
