We were staying in Helen, and I wanted to take my wife to a nice birthday dinner, as Helen does not have a lot of options. I found this place and based off of their high ratings, I decided to book a reservation. The ambience of this restaurant is decorated very nicely. It’s very masculine, but has a warm feel to it. We ordered drinks. I liked mine. My wife did not like hers. There are no Kid menus and we had our seven year-old daughter with us, so it was very tricky trying to find her something to eat but they commentated us with red sauce and noodles, which we appreciated that, but was disappointed to know that there was no kids menu. I ordered the pork chops and my wife got the fillet and we shared the mashed potatoes. My pork chops were extremely dry and had no flavor whatsoever. My wife’s fillet was cooked perfectly, but was extremely tough, not tender and was extremely upsetting, especially at the price point. They had no condiments which I found very bizarre. I have been to a lot of high-end restaurants, and even the most expensive restaurants I have been to have condiments. The food was very disappointing and it was very disappointing that we drove 30 minutes one way for my wife’s birthday and the food was just blah.
