We are regulars to this establishment, we love the food and the service. Recently, we celebrated my husband’s b’day, our friends joined us for the first time and they loved it. Happy we have this lovely restaurant in our neighborhood.

I like Stella. I've been there several times and always enjoyed it. This time, however, was a disappointment. My wife and I were there for Valentines day. The restaurant was packed; perhaps it was overwhelmed. The taste of the food was not up to snuff. My Cioppino was not as savory or well seasoned as in the past. There was no desert menu. Instead, they brought us what appeared to be a sliced dinner roll with whipped cream and chocolate chips in it. There was no charge for this dessert, and we felt it was worth it. We may give it a try again. My Yes answer to the "would you recommend to a friend" question is a qualified yes, giving the benefit of the doubt based on passed performance. If the Valentines experienced is repeated, it will be the last time I go back.

The food, service and atmospere is absolutely great. It makes you feel as if you are in Rome. The best Italian resturant wwe've been to in San Diego.

Lasagna was good, however, plate was ice cold and food was not hot. Bread wasn’t good. I won’t return.
