STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

    Our server Emily was spectacular. Her attention to detail was spot on. We especially enjoyed the jazz trio playing awesome Xmas tunes. The only suggestion is more hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict.....but the shrimp and grits were smoking good.

    The extra buffet included with order was surprising, but nice. The Charleston omlette was delicious. Server was attentive but not overbearing. Cost was a little higher than expected. Enjoyed the live music - that was a surprise fir brunch. Would go back again.

    Our favorite restaurant in Knoxville with another great experience. Service is prompt and friendly. Food is fabulous. This time we enjoyed the spicy tuna bites as a starter and then shrimp and grits and chicken caprese. Craft cocktails do not disappoint - favorite is Wild Moon Child.

    Our evening was a great success for our anniversary celebration. Service was excellent, food delicious and atmosphere festive! A perfect place to feel happy!

    Food and service were great. It's a cool space -- wide open so it's a little loud but we enjoyed it.

    First time diners at STIR. Anniversary brunch. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Negative - Small two booth seating when other couples were seated in more specious booths and plenty of seating available. Positive - Waiter showed up immediately and order taking efficient. Food was very good in flavor and quantity. Food arrived promptly. This was Sunday brunch. Again, we had not been here before, so we did not know the process. We were not informed that there was a brunch buffet (it was not in sight of the entrance or our seat. We also were not informed that it was part of the main courses we order (sided dishes and desserts). We only noticed that at the end of our meal when we noticed other diners walking back to their tables with small dishes from "somewhere". Disappointing that we were not advised. Because we were not told of what we were actually paying for and the extra brunch offerings I feel we did not get what we actually paid for and had to rate the overall less than above average.
