Went to STK for the first time for our anniversary dinner. We were going on the last day of restaurant week. No restaurant week menu was given even though I talked to the hostess after who confirmed they were still offering it as 1/26 was the last day. Putting that aside, my burrata was missing the sourdough mentioned on the menu; my husband's steak was med-well/well after requesting medium (they remade it which left me eating alone until it came back out 15 mins later and then was cooked med-rare) and our cheesecake did not have the toppings mentioned on the menu. The manager never came to apologize for the steak, and it seems trivial to complain about these things, but for $76 steak and $300+ dinner, you'd think these mistakes would not occur. Needless to say, it was a 1 timer for sure.

It was my Birthday celebration and it was excellent. The food, the atmosphere, the service - all of it was top-notch. The steaks were great and the best cheesecake I've ever had.

Don’t go here on the weekend. I had to wait an hour just to get seated with a reservation. It took 3 hours to be seated and eat. This is my last time there.

I took the opportunity to try out your restaurant during restaurant week. First I was shocked that valet was $17. Most of the time valet is complementary or if they do charge is $10. What I expect out of the restaurant is high-end fine dining. When I enter, I felt like I was entering a nightclub with my reservation was at 8:15. I would assume that there would be a dress code or at least work casual but I would say 90% of the patrons that came there were dressed like they were going to nightclub or they were at a strip club, and the music was loud like we were in a nightclub . During restaurant week, the restaurant was offering $50 with an appetizer, main entrée and dessert but any sides would be additional charge. With $50 your appetizer there was only one choice to choose from any other appetizers would be additional charge, your main entrée had only one choice to pick from that’s included in the $50 any other choices were additional charge, any sides added to your entree is an additional charges and one dessert was included in the $50 restaurant week. The choice of dessert that was included in the restaurant week was completely out, so there was no other choice but to pick the one that they charge extra for. I felt like if they were offering restaurant, they should have plenty of desserts to choose from that was Included, but instead they ran out and I had to get a dessert that were an additional charge. By the time all said and done with the restaurant, we offering $50 per person plus one glass of wine, gratuity and the fee for valet parking I walked out paying close to $130 for a $50 meal offered for restaurant week, granted I had one glass of wine. All in all, the food was mediocre for the type of restaurant and the price they charge. Definitely not a high-end restaurant atmosphere but more like a nightclub. Highly disappointed in my experience and felt like it was a waste of my money.

I am very disappointed with our experience. We arrived 13 minutes prior to our reservation, yet we're not seated until 28 minutes past our reservation time. To pay $124 for 4 drinks in martini size glasses is appalling, but to have to send steak back because it was overcooked was still not the worst of it all. The next steak was still overcooked. Round it out with receiving a frozen cheesecake, and that about sums up an overhyped overpriced experience. STK can learn a lot from other restaurants in the city about how to ensure seating is available for patrons with reservations rather than disregarding and making excuses.

Had to wait 45 min even though we had a reservation. Server disinterested and rude. Chaos throughout as they seemed to struggle with most things. Water, timing of food etc. Better options in town.

Where do I start. Reservations were at 6:00pm did not get seated until 7pm. Took forever for the food to come out it was cool! Flavorless like no salt, pepper nothing!!! Friends steaks were not cooked properly. Had to keep asking other employees where is the server for our table.. I could go on! This was my 1st time going and most definitely my last.

Long wait for our reservation and the food took forever. I had to ask for bread after 30 minutes and took our dessert to go. The tables around us were all joking about how horrible the wait times were. The food was ok. The steaks were wonderful, I had the sea bass which was not amazing and the creamed spinach was mediocre. The ambiance is horrible. I could hear the conversations on both sides of me you are jammed in so tight. There are a lot better places to go in Charlotte at that price point for a much better experience.

Reservation at 6, got there at 5 before 6. Was told at 630 they were clearing our table. Finally after speaking to manager we were sat at 6:45. Had to rush through dinner bc we had 8oclock event. Waiter was oversat so we rarely saw him. Took 15 mins to get drinks. Etc etc. Food was good, just wish we could have enjoyed it. Would have been nice if one of the 7 enployees congregating at hostess station could have apologized for our wait, but they couldn't be bothered.

Was overcharged and waiter had trouble explaining to me why the Restaurant Week Menu price was differently than what I had been charged. He mumbled something, and said he would handle it, and then came back a few minutes with the bill being reduced by around $1 (total bill was around $200). It still wasn’t right but at that point I’d had enough and just wanted out. After leaving and reviewing the bill closer I noticed a charge for a steak rub that I never asked for and was charged for the desert that should have been included in the base price. Those two pretty much made up the difference in price I was expecting to be charged.
