We had high hopes for the evening, but from start to finish, the experience was uncomfortable & a poor reflection of a “high-end” dining experience. Upon arriving, we were seated near the doorway, subjected to a frigid gust of wind. When we requested to be seated away from the door, the manager’s response felt more like a chore than an attempt to accommodate, at a time when the restaurant was seemingly at no more than 40% capacity. Once reseated, our waiter took our drink orders and spent an excessive amount of time verifying the authenticity of our IDs. Holding our IDs to the light & to the side of my face was extremely offensive but ridiculous. While placing our food orders, I was stopped mid-sentence to be reminded of the upcharge for my steak, despite it being clearly listed on the menu. This felt unnecessary, especially for a high-end restaurant. When I expressed my discomfort, the waiter dismissively told me to “take it up with the manager.” The drinks that followed were uninspired & overpriced at $23 a cocktail served in a sticky glass. Not exactly the level of refinement one should expect here. For starters, we ordered the oysters and wagyu sliders. The oysters were satisfactory , but the sliders were overcooked & charred beyond recognition. We both ordered the filet, cooked medium. One arrived well-done, & the other was charred on the outside and medium-well inside. When the waiter noticed the issue, he offered to have the steak redone. The second attempt came out rare. Even the waiter was embarrassed as he stood watching me cut into it. After another trip to the kitchen, the steak came back CUT IN HALF, charred to a crisp on the outside & still raw in the middle. At this point, the steak was taken back & also off the tab, but dinner was ruined. We were left with 1 medium well filet & 2 sides, lacking salt. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere. We’d recommend Deans, Flemings or even Ruth’s Chris.

Went for restaurant week and this place was busy. Took a second for us to get seated but all good as the food and service were great. Karla was very attentive and answered all our needs.

The dinner experience was fantastic! There was a wide variety of food selections, catering to different tastes and preferences. The portions were generous, ensuring great value for the meal. The staff was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and professional, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The ambience was inviting and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing and memorable meal. Highly recommended!

Food was pretty good. Not the best I’ve ever had but it was still good. The service was terrible. Didn’t get seated until 45 minutes after the reservations. No where to sit or wait except for in front of the door. Didn’t get served our drinks for a while. Super loud music. No steak knives to eat our steaks. No utensils to eat our desserts. Had to serve my own drinks. My wife never received the drink she ordered. Complained to the manager only to get a response that the server was new. I suppose they hire inexperience staff and we have to suffer and still pay full price. $495 for 2 adults and 2 kids and didn’t get a discount. Very unprofessional for this class of a restaurant. Will never return. Hope this review cost STK more money in the long run.

We weren’t seated until 50 after our reservation. I don’t understand why? What is the point of making a reservation if it’s not going to be honored? Ambience was fun. They had a DJ playing popular tunes which made the wait a little more bearable. Drinks were good. Food was not. We ordered the Japanese A5 wagyu filets ($300 per steak) and it was so disappointing! I have never had such bad wagyu steak! We are from Chicago and we know our steaks. In fact, I don’t think it was wagyu meat at all. We ordered our steaks medium plus, which is a little pink in the middle but not well done. The steaks came out medium rare and were very chewy. They were not good at all. The sides were delicious and dessert was good. The tuna tartare appetizer was ok and the wedge salad was very good. We paid $1,000 for 4 people. I would never go back. Not worth it at all.

My wife and I have been to STK all over the country and our only complaint is the lighting upstairs. We had to use our phone light to look at the Menu and so did the couple next to us. The little candle on the table is not enough light.

We had a reservation for 915. We sat there for 35 minutes before getting our drinks and another 1plus before even getting our food.

Overall good food. Only issue was how long (over an hour after being seated) it took for the food to come out. Expensive but good food.
