   The food was good not for the price. There are many high end restaurants in the charlotte area that I would go to for the price Had to ask for utensils. Overall ambiance for the price you pay is well below what I am accustomed to in a higher end restaurant

   This location is in Charlotte For a 5 star restaurant I was extremely disappointed. The prices were astronomical which I knew since we dined at the one in Disney Springs. They expect you to dress nice but the bartender is in a black tank and jeans. I felt like we were at a club. The busboy came to take our dish away and brought a 1/2 eaten meal from another table and put it on ours before clearing off our plate. Then while our waiter was taken our order another waiter came over to talk to him about a drink order. Then our meals came out wrong and some were brought to our table but was supposed to be the other tables. When we received our check it was for the other table and then the waiter and manager couldn’t figure out our bill. It took them 3 times. For a $450 bill, we could have had a better meal for 1/4 of the price somewhere else. I never leave my opinion but I am hoping you use this information to improve this location and preserve the reputation that STK is made out to be.

   Excellent service and delicious food. A little pricey but for that quality of food, it was worth it.

   Unfortunately I had a frustrating experience at STK, especially considering the special occasion(Uncle and Best Friends Birthdays). Waiting an additional two hours for a booth and then receiving poor service on top of that would understandably leave a bad impression. When expectations are high, especially for a celebratory dinner, the disappointment hits harder. The food was mediocre at best, and my uncle was there to eat a big steak and had to eat Filet Mignon (he wanted a Ribeye). The two birthdays that’s we were there to celebrate received NONE of the celebratory surprise from the staff (one of the reasons I choose STK). Unless it’s a catered dinner party, I will go elsewhere.

   Awful first experience to STk. I chose this restaurant based on reviews-service, food and energetic vibe. The vibe of the restaurant is super cool. The service was awful. From the minute we walked in, had 7pm reservation and didn’t get sat until almost 7:35pm. The server was just blah. Very straight forward and not friendly at all. The food was about 50%. The ribeye, the ceaser salad and the mac and cheese were good. We asked for the ribeye to be MR and it was medium, only pink, no hot red center at all. We also ordered the short ribs, they were just blah. The mash potatoes that came with the short ribs were like boxed mash, not worth the $60 meal at all. The drinks are strong but at $25 a cocktail, nothing spectacular. Over all, it was over priced for no reason. Walked out spending $330 on 2 people and it was somewhere I would not recommend or ever go back to. Too many amazing restaurants in Charlotte to waste money on this place.

   We had a 6:45 reservation and arrived a few minutes early to get checked in. Unfortunately, despite the reservation we weren’t seated until 7:30. This slowness pretty much stayed consistent from here. Our server took drink orders which then came piece by piece over 15 minutes. Eventually she came back to take our food order. When the food arrived it was cooked well, but not at all worth the price. $61 for an “OK” 6oz filet with an extra $8 for barely 1oz of a sauce was ridiculous. We’ve been to plenty of steak houses and understand a la carte menus, but it was NOT worth it at STK at all. Go to Flemings or Hyde Park and at least get a much better environment for the price you’re paying.

   Was not seated until 30 minutes after our reservation and ended up sitting outside in the wind. Others waiting for table with reservations just left because wait was too long. We made hostess and wait staff aware we had tickets to a comedy show and were on a time schedule. Food was outrageously priced for the quality. Ice melted in our cocktails by the time we received them. Waters never filled. Waiter had too many tables. Will never go back. Totally sucked-service and food a disappointment.

   We had a reservation inside at 6 pm (show at 7:30 pm). We were seated at 6:45 pm outside. The waiter was better than most, but the staff seemed completely overwhelmed whether it was at the hostess stand where you checked in or the time to get your drinks. So, we ordered immediately when we sat and the food came 30 minutes later. It was fine, but the quality of the food or the experience was no where near the price that you pay to eat here.

   Terrible service. We left after an hour and a half after getting two apps, water and a bread roll($90). The staff is not what you would expect at a steakhouse with these prices and management was indifferent. This place won’t be here long without major changes to management and staff. Truly disappointing and for people to experience this and pay these prices is awful. To be clear, I was fully expecting to pay a high price as I viewed the menu before hand, but if the service and quality of food do not match the price, which it didn’t, you will have a lot of unhappy customers that won’t come back.

    $120 steaks and $20 small sides coupled with $25 cocktails = overpriced by far. No bread service. Took an hour wait past our reservation time to be seated.
