Had an incredible experience at STK Steakhouse in San Diego last night. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point—elevated yet fun. Our server, Mattie, was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the night. The manager even made it a point to stop by the table to check on us. The food? Next-level. Perfectly cooked salmon and delicious sides for me and a flavorful vegan pasta dish for my date.
What really set the tone was DJ Mike White—the music was absolutely on point and kept the energy alive with some sexy house music without overpowering the dining experience. Great food, top-tier service, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

I just celebrate my birthday there with 10 of my girlfriends and we had the best food, great music, sexy, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend going back, especially to the private room upstairs!

My husband and I came for our anniversary dinner and have wanted to try for some time. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious our server Justin was great which made the experience even better. We will definitely be back. I loved everything about our experience.

Honestly, the place is cute. Most servers that we interacted with were very attentive and pleasant. Our server was very dry and we were not impressed with his service. He didn’t explain the menu to us nor guided us to their bestsellers or popular dishes… Could’ve have a better first experience for the price we paid. None the less it’s a cute place for drinks.

The experience here was great. The atmosphere was lively and very inviting. Food was delicious but a bit pricey.
Overall very satisfied with STK. Would recommend highly as long as you are ready for bill over $200 easy.

Today, my family and I went downtown to the Jacobs Music Center for a symphony concert. After an incredible performance, we decided to have dinner at STK to continue the celebration, as it was also our son's birthday.
Upon arrival, we were promptly guided to our reserved table, which was already set and waiting for us. The staff was attentive from the start, ensuring we had water and everything we needed. Our waiter, Nick, warmly welcomed us, inquired about any food allergies, and acknowledged our special occasion. He quickly brought our drinks, and we placed our dinner orders.
The house-made bread was amazing, and our entrees arrived in a timely manner, perfectly prepared and delicious. While we waited, Yaya, the manager, came by to check on us, ensuring we were comfortable, confirming any food allergies, and acknowledging our celebration.
We’ve been to other STK locations, but the San Diego restaurant stands out above the rest. The food was fantastic, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding service. Nick and Yaya went above and beyond, making us feel as if we were dining at a family-owned restaurant rather than a chain.
For the grand finale, they surprised us with sparkling candles and a special birthday dessert for our son—an unforgettable touch!
A big applause to Nick and Yaya for their incredible hospitality. We will definitely be returning!
