   would never book again. Didn't even get there. They canceled late afternoon stating problem in kitchen. We had walked to the restaurant in the afternoon and seen notice on door saying not open that day. Called them and was told they would be open that evening, the notice hadn't been taken down the previous day. We had our doubts as inside had looked deserted and had not been used for a while. Few hours later received a TEXT apologising that work being carried out in kitchen had not been completed. Felt very let down as this was a surprise for my wife, and I'd booked an overnight stay. Someone was not being honest with us. A big letdown.

   Yes. But it a grown up restaurant for grown up menu's of well prepared fish and shell fish dishes. Not for families with young noisy children. Why is it that Continental countries have families with young children who all tuck into oysters, mussels, fish etc and are all well behaved and don't scream or run amok. Until UK children behave in the same manner can the proprietors please put a sign up saying, can children please be kept under control. This will deter families with young children but allow the rest of us to enjoy the restaurant and its ambience. This restaurant is worth supporting for very good food and service so it needs to identify its core customers, not just in summer but during the winter months to survive.

   Restaurant was very quite with a strange Disney inspired soundtrack. Quality of food was ok but not congruent with price.

   This is a lovely restaurant. The staff were helpful and attentive. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked. The visit was a real treat during our stay in Poole.

   Gary very pleasant waiter very good service it was quiet hopefully service would be as good when busy, Chowder lovely Pan Fried Scallops mouth watering, Pan Seared Halibut first time Husband tried enjoyed the meatyness, Chilli Dusted Seabass lovely, Pleasant music playing comfortable volume, would recommend to friends would return,

   Limited front of house staff members, waiting, waiting and waiting! really felt for the two members of staff, covering a full restaurant and the bar!

    Seevice very slow. Waited an hour for starters only to be given mains with no starters brought out. Food good but attention to detail needed.
