We visited for a Valentine’s Day celebration with friends. The hostesses greeted us warmly, and in few minutes escorted us to our table. Our wait person was wonderful and kept track of the readiness of our drinks and meals. Food was really top notch and delicious. A very pleasant experience.

Drinks from the bar took way too long. One arrived as we were having dessert. It was ordered when our main dish arrived. The sugar bacon appetizer was undercooked. It was a disappointing evening given we have been to this restaurant many times in the past. Not sure what changed, but it has really gone downhill.

We enjoyed a nice brunch at Sugar bacon yesterday. It was a little dark for daytime dining, but otherwise the service was attentive and our breakfast was good. Would definitely return!

Accommodating a group of 16 went well overall. 2 orders weren’t correct. The one who had the most issues had their meal comped. Some disappointment on the avocado toast because they weren’t expect a spread. But the liked the flavor. Mail server was very thoughtful and accommodating.

I don’t understand why more people haven’t discovered this restaurant. Service is always excellent. Management always drops by to check on things (thank you Hank!). Food is very good, although I’m finding the kitchen getting a bit heavier-handed with salt. Food prices are reasonable with generous portions. Don’t skip the appetizers! Drink prices are a bit high; pours a bit light. But we will keep returning. The downside: parking is horrible.
