I’ll start by saying I know Christmas night is a very busy night but guess what, the restaurant knows this as well! We had an early reservation at 5:45 in hopes of avoiding problems but it didn’t work out that way. Wait time for our reserved table was 30 minutes. Our server was excellent. He did his best but had no control over the back of the house. Appetizers arrived well prepared and in a very reasonable time frame. Entrees were a problem. A steak house that sells out of filet before 6:00 pm? Come on. We also had to wait right at an hour between appetizers and entree which is just ridiculous. It seems that the Anchorage location just can’t seem to get entrees out if they are even slightly crowded. This was our second visit there this week and wait times for food were unacceptable both times. Our family likes the food so we keep going back but it’s getting to the point where we’re ready to give up and go elsewhere. It’s not worth the aggravation.

We have never been disappointed with the quality of the meals we ordered from Sullivan's Steakhouse. The portions are generous, the presentation on the plate invited you to enjoy the experience and most importantly, the taste of all the entries we have ordered over the years have been five stars. The restaurant was filled to capacity on our visit and the staff moved quickly and very carefully among the tables. We thoroughly recommend Sullivan's Steak House.

While it was Christmas Day, it was slow here, which was great. But my steak was undercooked, I felt bad for sending it back to have it fixed, the steak came back overcooked. I then gave up and said that I just didn’t want the steak. The manager at the time came over and offered to take the meal off the ticket as well as a side. Which good thing he did, the side had a hair at the bottom of the food, we had discovered this boxing it in a to go box. We just left the to go box. Never have we ever had such an experience such as this at Sullivan’s and the customer service was great, the chefs must have been having an off day. Not sure about going back anytime soon.

We had a reservation for 6:45pm, were not seated until 7:20. Waited until 9pm for our food but it never showed and were told "no ETA" on our order. Paid for the overpriced champagne and left.

Ther Service and Ambiance was Great! The server was knowledgeable and friendly, although she did bring the wrong 1st course for two of my guests. She corrected it immediately and without hesitation. Three of my guests ordered the Business Lunch and the Delmonico Steak, all ordered either Rare or Medium Rare but all of them came out Medium or higher. There was not a bit of pink in the Steak. Even though the steaks were over cooked the flavor was fine. The sides were all good. One thing to note; I always look forward to the Lobster Bisque it was the best in the city, now they have changed it to Lobster and Shrimp Bisque, while still tasty not the same. If it was not for the great service and server, it would have been a completely unremarkable and ordinary lunch.

Good server. Table was ready when we arrived. Food was delish. One salad was forgotten, but quickly ordered and served. Seamless checkout.
