Sullivan’s is a vibrant neighborhood American Steakhouse featuring the finest steaks & seafood, hand shaken martinis, & live music. We offer comfortable fine dining in a lively atmosphere. From the moment you step inside our lounge for drinks, appetizers or dinner, you will feel the energy and excitement provided by our professional team. Sullivan’s serves the finest Midwestern hand selected steaks aged a minimum of 28 days, simply seasoned and broiled at 1,200 degrees, fresh seafood, a wide selection of cravable appetizers, soups, salads and side dishes.     Our complementary anniversary dessert never was offered. The bar was out of Makers Mark. The lobster shells sat on the table the entire meal. We were given menus that were not the same. Our waiter, Morgan, was new but extremely friendly and fun. Management needs to work on the details if Sullivan’s is going to be a top tier restaurant. We’ve been going there for years and still will. It was a Monday nite and perhaps that makes the difference. Everyone was friendly. Food was good and prompt.

    One of our “ go to “ restaurants when in Palm Desert! The BLT salad that the restaurant made table side was delicious. We also ordered the French onion soup and that was a hit. The steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare as we ordered. The food servers were friendly and accommodating.

    We eat out often this by far was the best dinner we have had in a restaurant in a very long time. All 6 of our steaks were perfection so tender and flavorful. The appetizers were amazing our favorite was the Beef Wellington bites. We loved the knock out drinks. The bread pudding was really amazing . The chef came by to visit several times to make sure we were doing good. We had wonderful service . There was a fantastic band on the patio. You must try this restaurant when in Palm Desert.

    Our reservation was for 6:45, we were seated 45 minutes late as they were busy. They ran out of bread, the wine I ordered was out of stock, our server went MIA for 30 minutes, our steaks came out lukewarm because our server was MIA, they tried to serve us the wrong items twice. And overall dismal showing for what we expected. We get that it was busy, but we paid good money and would have been better off having dinner at our resort.

    Met grumpy hostess who said our reservation was behind 35 minutes. Said wait wherever. Our daughter has a boot on and difficult to stand. Nowhere to sit. I ordered the special Thanksgiving turkey dinner and it came with no gravy or cranberry. Just a few little things but important when paying high priced meals.

    really bad experience, had to wait over 45 minutes for table, over an hour to get food, and food was cold when it was served.

    The service was wonderful. Even with the longer than normal wait; the hostess’, bar tenders, and table servers were wonderful. We called ahead to be sure there was a vegetarian option for Thanksgiving dinner and was assured that there was. When the restaurant called to verify the reservation I asked again to be sure there would be a vegetarian option for the entree and was told the chef had a plan. When we were seated we were told there was no option but the chef would do something. We ended up being served a stir fried chopped salad as our entree, and were still charged the full pre fix menu price. The berries and cream dessert had to be sent back because the whip cream was made with salt instead of sugar. They also ran out of bread.

    Our reservation for Thanksgiving was at 4:30 We arrived on time and there were 10 tables ahead of us! We were finally seated at 6:00! The service was very slow,,,, The bisque was unpalatable with something like CAYENNE in it. We do not eat spicy food. The turkey arrived and was so salty we could not eat it! We brought it home ad will rinse it off before re-heating it... We have eaten at Sullivans many times and have enjoyed it. This was a nightmare. In addition to the poorly prepared food, the room was much to cold...probably about 60 degrees.
