Superica
– “where sunshine spends the winter” – also known as Tex-Mex cuisine served in an Old-West-inspired atmosphere alongside music inspired by Austin.

The cuisine is a combination of 1950s Tex-Mex and the wood grill that has taken the food to another level by way of fajitas and more. An “evolved Tex-Mex menu,” includes the classics: tacos, nachos, tamales and enchiladas plus more intricate dishes such as wood-grilled fajitas and shrimp tacos always served with just-made flour tortillas, all while paying homage to the traditions and recipes that have been a part of the Texas culture for decades.

We sat in the enclosed patio which was really nice except the door going from the enclosed patio to the outdoor covered patio area slammed every time someone used the door. Thankfully we were not right next to this door however this was quite distracting and should be addressed for noise control. Otherwise everything else was wonderful. Food was outstanding, our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and we would love to have her again.

Food was delicious and service was great! Our server, Five, took wonderful care of us. We’ll definitely be back very soon!

We were seated at a time close to a shift change (4:30) Instead of taking our order, we sat with our two small children for 30 minutes before the new server came to take our drink order. We usually get in and out of restaurants in 45-60 minutes so we considered leaving at the 30 minutes mark when we had not heard from a server since we were seated.

Wonderful food. Best of this type in the RDU area by far. Friendly and efficient staff. Just a great experience. Will be back.

Excellent staff, and food was amazing. Our server Laura was very customer friendly and made our dinner much more enjoyable with her attention to detail.

Overall experience was good! Our waiter was the best part. Restaurant is drafty and freezing…layer up and eat quickly.

The chips are SO GOOD! It was our first visit and I'm planning on going back the first warm day to eat chips and sip on a margarita out on the patio. Food was HOT, delicious and quick.

Tasty food. Definitely legit Tex-Mex. Spicy Margarita was also well done. Brisk service even on a hectic Saturday night. Would highly recommend,

Let me start by saying we will be going back to Superica. My only annoyance was that the servers were not as attentive as I would have liked. Great ambiance and the food was delicious. Chips and both Salsas ( green and red ) to start the evening were very fresh and addicting!
