A 2024 James Beard Award semifinalist, SupperClub on 2nd (SCO2) is a fine-casual urban bistro + cocktail kitchen in the heart of Downtown Memphis, located directly across from the world-famous Peabody Hotel at the Corner of 2nd & Union. The kitchen is headed by Executive Chef & Food Network television alum Chef Tamra Patterson, affectionately known as Chef Tam, SCO2 features soulful Southern delights combined with stables of the Memphis culinary scene freshly reimagined and refined.

A nod to the supperclubs on the 60s & 70s, SCO2 features two floors of dining featuring two bars, set in a backdrop of deep-wood, velour and brass finishes, plus visual art via laser projection as well as stationary artistic designs & lighting. Live music Thurs-Sat from 7p-9p and Happy Hour from 5p-7p. Fri & Sats, live DJs spin an eclectic blend of acid jazz, breaks and classics to keep your night on the right track.

Unique spot with Chef inspired dishes. Food was ok. We had the egg rolls, bird, greens, mac and cheese, brussels and Caesar salad. Nothing stood out as excellent, but the egg rolls were different in a good way. Our server didn’t know what rye whiskey was, salad was not finished or tossed, server asked what type of dressing we wanted for the Caesar salad, and after using the restroom it was hard to get past the uncleanliness and smell to enjoy the meal. We may try again for the shrimp appetizer which was served to the table beside us, but probably not for a full meal.

First visit—cocktails were excellent (recommend the smash) but pretty slow arriving. We had ordered and finished the appetizer before the cocktails arrived. Ordered raw oysters as an appetizer. They were only ok. The people next to us that we chatted with had the fried green tomatoes which they said were excellent. The entrees were really superb. We had one lamb and one salmon. Both were delicious perfectly cooked and generous portions. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable. Will definitely come back (just won’t order oysters).

Everything was awesome! From the service to the food and the ambiance, it was all amazing. We will definitely be returning!

From the ambience, the service, and the food all were immaculate. I ordered the soul waffle that comes with either fish or chicken.. and you can choose between greens, Mac and cheese or candied yams. Unfortunately, they were out of greens; so I settled with Mac and cheese with the Yams. Actually glad I did, because that combination was amazingly delicious. I will be back

The service was really good. Our food was okay for the most part. Greens, fish and grits, chicken wings were delicious. Mash potatoes were a bit cold. The restaurants air works really well so bring a jacket.
