**Welcome to Sushi Hakko on Union St. + Fillmore St.**
We'd like to offer our tasting menu that's reflecting Chef Alex Kim and his team's pursuit of top notch sushi experience. Our approach is a harmonious crossover of authentic Edo-mae style with Western skill. From fish to rice, cooking rice to garnish prep - a true synergy of not only Californian but Japan.

**Sushi Bar Experience**
For the best experience of our tasting menu, we'd recommend the sushi bar seating, where chef will serve and explain the dish by dish, piece by piece with an extensive information of the skills and ingredients.

**Regular Tables**
Our regular tables are also available for the tasting menu and you can make a reservation at any time slot to your convenience.

Excellent Sushi and other kaiseki dishes. Edomae style sushi with top ingredients made respecting the flavors and qualities of each fish. If you have never had excellent sushi this is a must go dining experience.

The service was wonderful, the restaurant just was not we expected. It has very out of the ordinary preparations, to the point it was too bougie. The seaweed wrap was very thin - not tough at all like most. Actually added to the rolls. The tempura fried shrimp heads were perfectly prepared.

Far exceeded expectations and as good of foodie experience as I have ever had. Everything perfectly curated and totally unique. Had no idea that one of the world’s best restaurants was in my neighborhood! Great Team there whom are truly warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Amazing Omakase. went on a monday so it was slower. sat at the counter where the chef expertly served us and explained the dishes. he even showed us his original concept art! Wonderful Night!

Our experience exceeded all of our expectations. The food, service, and care provided by the chef and staff were outstanding! They made our birthday and anniversary the best ever. I highly recommend this omakase experience to anyone who enjoys and respects Japanese cuisine.

Chef and staff are friendly and talented. Menu is modified daily depending on the latest quality of Japan ingredients supply, very impressive. Chef secret dishes are awesome.
