Shrimp tasted like cleaning solution , sushi rice had too much sugar , fish itself wasn’t good quality. Tempura batter was too thick and old oil was used to have brown color also tempura shrimp was way over cooked. Horrible meal, possibly the worst Japanese I ever had.

This restaurant is where Sushi Ko resided for years, and had the best Sushi in DC. We were hopeful, it did not come close. Waitress nice, it was a Friday night and not busy. Food comparable to sushi you might buy at Safeway. disappointing.

We were a large family group including both a vegetarian and someone who doesn’t eat fish. Japanese restaurants always work for us. For those of us who do live seafood, this was very good. We had the flounder carpaccio and j had sushi tuna five ways. The vegetable tempura was well prepared. Would definitely return. It’s not a destination restaurant but wonderful to have in my neighborhood.

I have always had a great meal at Sushi Keiko. THe owner, Ming, is extremely friendly as is Ellen and all the other staff at the restaurant. All my friends who have been with me have praised the food as well.

Great food, fresh sushi you can tell they use top-notch ingredients. Flavor combinations are great would definitely recommend the food. Service was a little slow and nonexistent. But all in all will definitely go back

Sushi and sashimi are wonderful, as good as any in town. Unadorned and uncomplicated, which means authentic. The only flaw is that sake is not inexpensive at all.
