                                                **Please Read if Gluten Free** We had a wonderful high tea at Swan House! The new decor gives a great atmosphere, especially for a mom’s meet up! The tea is amazing, especially the chai! One note of caution - if you have a Gluten Free member in your party, be sure to tell them ahead of time when making your reservation. (They do not state that you need to on their site/menu) While they note GF options on their menu, unless you give them notice, they aren’t able to accommodate as well. They also up charge for GF. They were able to make the two in our party that are GF some options and apologized for not having this stated anywhere and also didn’t up charge for our visit - which we really appreciated. But word of wise for our next visit and to others to definitely let them know/add it in the notes when making a reservation :)

                                                We had formal tea in the "wisteria room" - lovely ambience and good quality food and service. Exotic flavors of tea to suit all palates. Perfect for a special event or occasion.

                                                Be aware that the formal proper tea is only served on Fri and Sat. The regular menu choices are limited. The scones and tea are excellent. You can even take some home.

                                                Portion sizes keep getting smaller and smaller. Been coming here for years and this is the most disappointed I have been with the food.

                                                They charged my 9 year old daughter for an adult meal and when I questioned it she told me "you booked it that way". I actually booked through open table which asks party size, not how many adults and how many children. Most restaurants want to know how many people to reserve ahead of time, then charge appropriately once you get there based on the child's age. This restaurant does not work that way so be aware that you have to call them to give them the head count for adults and children when booking. They did NOT want to adjust the reservation for a child once we got there and found the issue. Other than that it was a good experience, but this is experience is what kept we from giving it 5 star.

                                                Hi! My name is Audrey. I'm the FOH supervisor at Swan House. I am the one you spoke with on Friday, if I remember correctly. Once again, I do apologize for the mishap. I did apologize numerous times and tried to explain that your daughter did receive the adult portion, so you did not feel overcharged. We are still in the process of learning and trying to fix these errors to our reservation system. We hope to correct situations like this so they don't happen in the future. I truly do apologize, and I hope you come visit us again!

                                                We enjoyed a formal tea as a birthday treat for my sister. 5 adults and 4 children under 6 made up our party. The service was wonderful, our waitress Emily was a delight, the food delicious, the cost a bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion like this.

                                                Wonderful March Proper Tea! Deliciously served in a lovely setting. Very friendly and patient while we perused the tea menu. Look forward to returning. Thank you for making this a delightful visit with my mom, niece, great-nieces and dear family friend. It was a splendid way to pass the tradition of enjoying Proper Tea to the next generation since it seems to be an uncommon occasion for some. Again, thank you!

                                                Our first pot of tea was not drinkable, it was cold and tasted burnt. It took a long-time frame to be replaced. (After our food arrived.) We went there to enjoy some tea. We were asked to dump our first cup of tea into an empty pot at our table. We felt the pot of tea and cups of poured tea should have been removed from our table immediately. We asked the waitress to take it away and bring clean cups back. The food was good but we had only water to go with it. So disappointed for my first visit.
