It would have been helpful if the pub was actually open to dine. We arrived to something like a demolition site. A Father’s Day surprise spoilt. It’s frustrating that the website and open table are still allowing bookings I’ve learnt a lesson though, and will now call to make a reservation to ensure someone is actually there!!!!!!

I had booked this table in advance only to find out when I got there that the restaurant was closed! I then had to scramble to find a restaurant that would take us at such short notice in a small village on a Sunday evening. Not a good experience at all!

The pub is closed - I was still able to book a table and on google it said it was still open. This needs to be updated to avoid future reservations

The place turned out to be closed due to flooding. I’m appalled that neither The Swan or Opentablea did not inform me ! I had no idea

we booked via this open table but the pub was closed when we arrived so we drove to the pub but it was invane. I believe the pub was closed due to flooding so I have some sympathy but it would be good to turn off the booking system when no tables are avialbale. thanks

Restaurant was closed but no mention of this on website or social platforms. Reservations still able to be made and only aware of closure when actually arrived at resturant.

The pub was closed due to flooding but we were not contacted to inform us, either directly or via OpenTable. From their instagram they had been closed since 8 Jan- our booking was on the 14th. Our party had all travelled in excess of an hour to meet for lunch so this was very disappointing. Luckily we found a table at the Elephant in Pangborne instead.
