Offering sweeping views of the river and downtown Louisville paired with a supper club-style menu and cocktail program, Swizzle, a new restaurant and bar by AJS Hotels is currently taking reservations

The Swizzle Supper Club menu will feature the area’s best prime steaks, chops, sustainable seafood, and local produce, all served up from the open-concept exhibition kitchen situated in the middle of the restaurant, allowing diners to watch the culinary action. The beverage program will take a more retro tone, with classic cocktails, including seasonal features, and a curated list of wines available by the glass or the bottle. Swizzles Big Bar area will also offer happy hour specials and bar bites, encouraging diners to drop by for a quick drink, or linger for the evening.

                                                                                                    The steaks and drinks were impeccable. The Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes seemed to be purchased from Sysco or GFS. They were not homemade or at least forgettable.

                                                                                                    Our table ordered the filet, the salmon and the tomahawk pork chop. All were cooked perfectly, served hot by attentive staff. Would highly recommend.

                                                                                                    I will start with saying the young lady who was our waitress was the sweetest waitress I have ever met although the food was average at best. I do not recommend the seafood at all had to send back. If you do go stay basic with burgers and fries.

                                                                                                    The food was amazing as it did not disappoint. Our server was very nice and did offer his suggestion when we were stuck on ordering the chicken or the steak. Our drinks were the best in the area as Sam was our bartender and knows how to make a drink. Will return.

Had some fantastic cocktails at the bar and enjoyed conversation with our lovely bartender before heading in for dinner. The food was incredible. The apps, the meat, the sides... everything was soooo good. I couldn't even pick a favorite dish. And wonderful service!

                                                                                                    Loved the slow rotating platform that they had where we ate with stunning views. You didn’t have a bad seat on the platform because the views were all accessible. We ate almost every single appetizer and some sides with cocktails and ended the evening with espresso with sambuca—great experience! Highly recommend.

The glassware, and especially the wine glasses would benefit from an upgrade; they were dated, but also did not reflect the quality of the restaurant.

                                                                                                    We celebrated my dad’s 70th birthday. He greatly enjoyed the attention provided by Lexie and the rest of the team and the food was excellent. We will be back again!

                                                                                                    The only reason to visit this restaurant is for the view. From the check in at the hostess stand to the first introduction of our sever, there was nothing whatsoever welcoming in any way. The first drinks took close to 20 minutes to arrive, the appetizers were delivered without appetizer plates, it was another 20 minutes between finishing salads and the entrees being delivered. The staff are clearly not trained for a fine dining experience that the meal price warrants. The two managers spent more time on choosing their pink suits and updating the seat availability on their iPads rather than training their staff or even asking tables if everything was to the guests liking. This was a one and done, completely underwhelming, lack luster birthday dinner experience.
