Offering sweeping views of the river and downtown Louisville paired with a supper club-style menu and cocktail program, Swizzle, a new restaurant and bar by AJS Hotels is currently taking reservations

The Swizzle Supper Club menu will feature the area’s best prime steaks, chops, sustainable seafood, and local produce, all served up from the open-concept exhibition kitchen situated in the middle of the restaurant, allowing diners to watch the culinary action. The beverage program will take a more retro tone, with classic cocktails, including seasonal features, and a curated list of wines available by the glass or the bottle. Swizzles Big Bar area will also offer happy hour specials and bar bites, encouraging diners to drop by for a quick drink, or linger for the evening.

                                                                                                    The service was amazing here and probably the most noteworthy part of dining at Swizzle. Our server was Chris. He was friendly, warm, knowledgeable, and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. We got oysters which were wonderful and calamari which were a tad underwhelming. Cocktails didn’t seem to fit the food options or vibes of Swizzle but they were still yummy. For entrees we got the New York strip (perfectly cooked but didn’t come with a veggie which ended up being okay bc the strip was pretty large) and the scallops dish. Both were yummy but a little salty. We skipped dessert even though we were celebrating a birthday because the dessert menu left a lot to be desired. There was an espresso martini on the dessert menu that I wish was on the regular cocktail menu because I would’ve preferred that over the pink and purple cocktails I did have.

                                                                                                    Carson was a most excellent server! He was polite, knew the menu well, and offered great service. The crab cakes and sea bass were superb. The. lobster bisque was too brothy with very little lobster. The Irish coffee contained very little "Irish" or cream. The cheesecake was delicious.

                                                                                                    Alexis made the night a great experience. I took my daughters as a special birthday night out. Alexis treated them with kindness and also made suggestions for them with age in mind. Each of the girls loved the food, setting and the experience. Thanks for a special night!
