Taco Dia is Newtown's newest hot spot! Located at exit 10 off of interstate 84. Featuring Tacos, Salads, Bowls, Burritos, Sandwiches and Small Plates. A large rectangular is the center piece offering a variety of freshly made Margaritas, Craft Cocktails, Beer, Mocktails and a Full Bar. Happy Hour Monday thru Friday 3pm - 6pm. Server was friendly and very patient when we caught up with friends and weren’t ready to order. Food was delicious and drinks were perfectly mixed. Our first time there- won’t be our last.

Very busy. Drinks are expensive. Tacos are good, however there was a very small amount of tuna in them. There were 4 of us and the table was almost comically small. I had to put a few items on the floor so we had room to eat our food. Very loud tonight, made it difficult to have a conversation. Service was great and the food was overall pretty decent.

I have celiac so this restaurant is a celiacs dream. The tacos were incredible and I got to eat churros. I haven’t eaten churros in over 20 years. Can’t wait to come beck!!

A welcome offering in Newtown, CT. Tasty, freshly prepared food, lively ambience and attentive service. The smoked margarita and Baja street taco were my favs.

Overall glad to have a new place in town. Great to see it fully packed on a Saturday night. Noise level is quite high but I take that to mean people are having a good time. Corn dip is yummy as are the margaritas (not overly sweet). Our group had a cariety of tacos aling with sides of rice and beans(sides could have been shared). Tortillas are corn for those who prefer flour. Also had a shrimp rice bowl which had a really good sauce. Service was good. We will return.

Amazing all around. Great drinks. Great food. Great service. It’s our go to Friday night family out dinner! My 18 mo old daughter LOVES the fresh guacamole and chips! And the spicy mango margarita is superb.
