Beautiful hidden gem. Wonderful preparation, presentation, and staff. The 7-course meal highlights range of talents! The breads are delicious, all vegetables delicately prepared, steak was succulent, and dessert with Turkish coffee was top notch. We will be back and invite our friends.

This place never disappoints! The food is just amazing. We were a group of 6 celebrating my birthday Ana ordered oysters, shishito peppers, beets salad, the trio, risotto, branzino, chicken dish and the shrimp appetizer which was beyond delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food, cozy spot, good cocktails.

The team was attentive and that gives a good impression off the bat. It was our group’s first time so we did the tasting menu. Everyone was happy with the dishes which were artfully presented. Beef was tender and the fish is well balanced. The restaurant has a good acoustic and sound barrier so you can focus on your conversation and not overpowered by other tables’ whimsical. This is a nice neighborhood restaurant and we’ll check it out again.

We had tasting menu last time we visited and it was amazing! Everything we tried at Taksim was delicious! The ambience is also very classy.

Truly enjoyed all the intense flavors and loved sharing mezes. The lamb was divine and the bread fresh and tasty. Will definitely return with friends!

Initially seated near entrance which was too cold when door was open but were moved upstairs which was very nice. Food was all delicious. You can easily dine on the variety of mezes alone and fore go any entre. We’ll definitely come back any time we’re in SF.

Honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long while. The tasting menu was Co pletely bursting with flavor for each dish. Absolutely returning.

My and I wife had the tasting menu. This is a 7 course sampler of dishes on the main menu. The food is simply outstanding. In addition to tasting great, the presentation on the plates was beautiful. I loved how this restaurant puts a modern twist on more traditional Turkish food. A couple of other notes- the service was spectacular. As good as any high end restaurant we have eaten at. And the restaurant has an excellent wine list, with many terrific, but reasonably priced wines. We can’t wait to go back!

I noticed that we were to get "bar seating" and asked, when we arrived, if we couldn't sit somewhere else. We were seated in a mezzanine, which was FAR less noisy; perfect for us. Still, this place is VERY noisy, and I don't think we would have enjoyed our anniversary dinner at all without this quieter seating. Food was excellent! The service was great, and the ambience pleasing. I suspect we were the oldest clients there.
