    This is a restaurant that knows how to cook salmon! I usually never order that in restaurants because they overcook it. It was served with seasonal veggies and a beet risotto that blew me away! I hate beets normally, but this was excellent. My boyfriend got the seafood risotto which was also excellent (I stole a taste). We were sad that they were all out of bread pudding for dessert, but it must be excellent if it was sold out by 7pm! Can't wait to try it next time. Got a blackened crab on cucumber planks as an appetizer and it was just meh. This is my third time at this restaurant and I haven't gotten a bad meal yet.

    Food was fantastic. Server was also wonderful. Hostess seemed put off when asked to move to a table away from the door (cold night).

    Great night out! Loved their twist on the French 75 & the Brussels were one if the best I have ever had!

    I wish I could remember our severs name because he was fantastic!! Patient, attentive, and willing to join in some teasing. As always, the food was delicious

    We have been to Talus many times and have always had a wonderful meal. Last night it was different. We arrived for our reservation, which the hostess couldn’t find. Sje indicated that someone else had already checked in our party. They were able to still seat us quickly, however we we were surprised to see the majority of the tables empty. With the small crowd it was unclear why it took extra time to bring our drinks. When our drinks arrived the two smoked old fashioned were watered down with little flavor. When the main dishes arrived, the food quality was less than expected. The risotto was watery and the cod was extremely fishy. While the food quality was lacking, as was the timeliness of the food, the service from our waiter was terrific.

    Very happy to have discovered Talus. Really enjoyed the food and beverages. Our party of 5 all liked their entrees. Would definitely eat here again but really glad we had a reservation. Very busy and a little noisy.
