    First time at Tap and Barrel, it was less than a great experience. We ordered drinks, a beer and an espresso martini. After 10 minutes the waitress came to inform me something about the espresso maker and they couldn’t make the martini.. not sure why we were still waiting for a beer at this point?! We asked for a gluten free menu twice, asked for forks twice which then she said they have run out so she would have to wash some?! we waited about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes for our dinner. The waitress forgot that we ordered coffee…the food was great but that was about it. We won’t go back.

    It was simple, sitting near the window is extremely cold just fyi. Food was ok but expensive for what it is. it was so loud between the music & the tables all crammed together upstairs i couldn’t hear each other talk felt like a nightclub. Felt like we were being rushed to leave but the restaurant wasn’t full. Service was good from the waitress.

    The location is great. Services was very good despite how busy it was. The only issue was the noise level. It was VERY loud. To the point we could not hear each other over the small two person table.

    Really enjoyed our night with a dear guest having a variety of great food and lots of drinks. Service was prompt and very friendly. Will visit again!

    Great restaurant. I recommend you sit up stairs by the windows in a low table. Service was great, food arrived quickly and was delicious! We’ll be back!

    I enjoyed their food except for the nachos. They were cold and some were burnt, I also don’t like sour cream and salsa poured over top them. I like having them on the side. The wings and pizza were good.

    Food was fine...it is extremely cold in the upper dining room...definitely have a coat / sweater during the winter...heaters help but if you aren't directly under one its very cold...and your food cools down very quickly Service was OK...our server seemed to forget about us a lot...don't think she wanted to be working last night ... really loud as well (I think due to ceiling being so high)...table for 2 and I could hardly hear what my daughter was saying. This was my 2nd time there...same experience...probably won't go again...lots of other restaurants that serve the same food but with better atmosphere.

    The food and service were great! Upstairs was definitely more noisy than downstairs. Good choice for a high energy group event but maybe not for a quiet romantic dinner.
