                                                                                                                          Atmosphere is New Orleans like. The menu was fine. I ordered a Margarita and after a taste or two it was awful, like out of a mix bottle or can. Asked our server if I could change to a beer and she said yes. There is a huge bar here so I thought the drinks would be fresh. The food was just OK- I had a burger, husband had jambalaya . Eh. Seems like the kitchen needs new cooks or Mgr. . Not great. The place was empty- I understand why. The kicker is we were Charged for the Margarita I returned. $15. That was not right. Husband didn’t say anything when we got the bill, but we’ll never go back. This is located in a Hilton Hotel. We used to come before the Menu & Decor change and it used to be a nice neighborhood pub with good food. Sorry to write such a negative review.

                                                                                                                          New Year's Eve. We were the only ones there. Very strange situation. Clearing all the tables while we ate. Why were they even taking reservations? Limited menu. Very disappointing.

                                                                                                                          Overall, an OK experience. Service was good and staff friendly. The food was average. Our table order Steak and Frittes. The Frittes were disappointing. The restaurant suggests that it is Cajun/Creole, but has very few items on the menu to reflect that. There was a band playing on the other side of the bar. Because of the harsh acoustics in the bar, it was hard to have a conversation. Don’t plan to go back. Too many other, very good restaurants around.

                                                                                                                          We had a wonder first time at tap and bitter. It was a quiet Sunday but the staff checked in on us throughout our dinner. We always had water and didn’t feel rushed and they gave us time in between courses to relax and enjoy each other company

The waitress was really helpful in getting me something else - I chose the kale salad, which was quite good. My friend said his steak was good. Nice beer selection.
