Tash restaurant is a Mediterranean dining experience for those who think food should be as inspired, innovative, and courageous as they are. The Tash menu merges the freshness of local ingredients with the boldness of global inspiration to create truly transcendent dishes.

About the Name
From the O’odham language spoken by members of the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community. Tash, pronounced [TH-O-SH], translates to sun, day or time.

About the Menu
The Tash menu is rooted in eclectic, Mediterranean-inspired dishes, but the restaurant’s cuisine blends multicultural influences to create a regional passport of vibrant flavors that engage the senses. To inspire great conversation, courses are all designed to be shared.

                                                                Valentine's Day dinner. Incredible chef Julio pulled out all the stops. Special items on the menu tonight, lobster ravioli, special salad, and a wonderful tartufo like ice cream dessert! He is amazing how creative he is with the food pairings, the wonderful sourced ingredients, the incredible attention to detail and presentati Tash is our absolutely favorite top restaurant in Scottsdale! Beautiful room, ambience, very well staffed, very well executed in all aspects! The dining experience is over the top! Chef Julio, the BEST! Thanks again, and aloha from Nick and Lin!

                                                                3 of us went for dinner before the casino. The ambience was nice but seemed too high scale for a DJ to be playing. It did keep the energy light though. We got the Meze appetizer in a vegan option, the mushroom risotto with grilled chicken, and the shrimp and bacon scampi. All 3 dishes were top tier. The Meze has such a colorful pallet and each of the veggies was prepared differently with 3 different sauces to dip in giving you rich flavors. The mushroom risotto was probably the best risotto I’ve had. It was tangy and the chicken was tender. The shrimp scampi has so much delicious lemon flavor and was well balanced with the savory bacon and shrimp. Not to mention the shrimp were huge! We each ordered a drink as well. The margaritas were ok. They aren’t much to rave about. I ordered just a simple vodka sprite, but received flat soda water and vodka instead. Our server was very kind and mindful that one of us was vegan. However, it wasn’t nearly busy enough for the service to have taken as long as it did. From the time we were seated until the waitress got to our table, about 10 mins had passed. We got our drink orders in, and then another 10 mins passed before she came back to get our food order. So we sat and waited 20 mins before we were able to order our food. The food came out swiftly then it was time to pay our tabs. Which this also took a while. We arrived for a 7:30 reservation and were out of the restaurant nearly 1.5 hours later and most of that was us waiting to get our order taken, waiting for the tab, and maybe 30 mins of eating and sipping our drinks.

                                                                Food was excellent. We had salmon and short ribs. Servers fantastic! View was great. They opened up the glass walls out to the very large patio at sunset, which is the view of Camelback Mountain. Reasonable priced for a resort in January in AZ. Highly recommend!
