I gave them 3 stars due to 2 reasons. The parking and this ridiculous reservation hold on the card. I understand, but release the hold once I show up. Plus, $50 per person is a little steep. Then, to deduct it from the bill, I definitely don't agree to that or with that. Most places that have you to place a card on file for a reservation release the authorization once you show. They definitely don't deduct from the card. How you know I had enough on the card to even cover the $150. I just think this policy needs to be adjusted. The added gratuity charge is another thing. You don't tax gratuity! Thankfully, she wasn't a bad waitress, or I would have been heated over that tip. The food was good, my friend ordered the garlic and herb lamb chops and I wish I would have ordered them because they were a hit. My seafood platter was okay, but I like my fish fried hard and coated with real cornmeal. I thought the cornbread waffle was a nice as well. Also, the charge extra to add passion fruit to the patron margarita. That was a surprise charge as well. The decor upstairs needs help, but downstairs was nice. Needless to say , it was an okay visit, but I will NOT make another reservation if I return.

This was my first time visiting Taste before 11am! Darren provided great service and attention to detail! We even requested his hours so we can come back when he's there! The Chicken and Waffles ( Red Velvet and Sweet Potato were AMAZiNG! Wings perfectly seasoned and NOT salty, and the cheese grits were creamy and smooth! Peach Bellinis were my favorite! Will be back next weekend!

Had a reservation for 8pm didn’t get seated until almost 9pm. When we were seated we ordered drinks that took them about 40 min to fix and bring to the table. Drinks were good but no reason to wait that long for them to come out. Food was amazing jerk chicken lamb chops were good but very very spicy. Over all would go back but hopefully have a better wait time it’s pointless to make a reservation pay 50 dollars a person to still wait to be seat an hr later.

Went for friend’s Birthday and had a great time . Food was delicious and service was sooo good. Customer service was outstanding. Everyone was so courteous and friendly .

You need to be aware that the restaurant’s $50/person deposit is actually a guaranteed spend on food and drinks. We spent about $90, but were charged $150 + tax and tip. They say that in the fine print, but you really have to be looking for it. The restaurant is also incredibly loud. The music is night club level volume. The food was tasty but I would not go back or recommend it.
