   AMAZING experience!!! We had THE BEST waitress and the food was PHENOMENAL!!! I am saying this as a born and raised New Englander…. I had THE BEST lobster roll of my life here!!!! Can’t wait to come back!!!

   Food was excellent. the Beef Wellington dinner special was delicious and my partner really enjoyed the Red Snapper. The atmoshphere was very unique and it was a special experience to dine inside such a historical building. The service was excellent as well.

   This restaurant was a pleasure to dine at. The greeter at the door was very helpful and encouraged us to browse through the museum area while we waited for another member of our party to arrive. The history of the building is incredible. Take the time to walk through! The servers were very busy as there was a large group in the next room over. We weren't in a hurry so we didn't mind too much; they comped our drinks even though we didn't complain at all, which is unheard of these days so we were happy & impressed with that consideration. The menu was unique and complementary to the theme of the Tavern, but we felt a bit pricey. The meals were delicious though. We would go back again, and we recommend it to others, especially history buffs as there's a lot to see in the Inn in terms of that.

   On a whim we went out to the Tavern for Valentine’s Day. Our expectations were low because we were expecting a crowded, noisy, overpriced experience on the holiday but we were more than pleasantly surprised. Our server Marissa was kind and helpful, we did not feel rushed, and the food was delicious! I also enjoyed reading the history of the Inn and all of the historical figures that have stayed there.

   Reservations at 7:00. I understand how busy a Valintines Day dinner would be, however we waited almost 30 minutes with no service. There were quite a few wait staff and servers bustling in the area we were in but we had no acknowledgement in that 30 minutes. I told the host on the way out. He asked if I would like to speak to management but I declined. At that point, there really was no proper remediation that management would proffer. Went to the Brewworks up the street for a really nice meal

   Our server Marissa was absolutely wonderful. The V-Day dinner set-up was great and between the quality of the food and timing of when the courses came out made for a great experience!

   As always a fantastic visit! This was our 4th year going on valentines 💝 day and they did not disappoint. We will definitely be going again next year. Thank you to the staff and ownership for making it a great, fun, and easy stop.

   We went on Valentine’s Day so menu was limited but all of our choices were fantastic. The beef pie and Filet mignon were so good. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. This was our first time there. We loved the historic building and atmosphere!

    Never disappoints. Consistently delicious food accompanied by attentive and friendly service. One of the best burgers in the Lehigh Valley. A true gem!
