   The atmosphere was very loud, but with the Celtics playing, that was to be expected. The appetizers were good, and the cocktails were amazing. My mac and cheese, however, was pretty underwhelming — it was mediocre at best. The chicken they added wasn’t great either, though I’m very picky when it comes to chicken, so I can’t completely blame them. The service was great; we had a very nice waitress who made the experience even better. Overall, despite the noise and my disappointing entrée, it was a good night out.

   The service was OUTSTANDING and the food was FABULOUS! The bartender, Damien was not only friendly and fun he totally made our Mother’s Day dinner one we’ll never forget!!

   We had a wonderful experience at the Tavern in the Square celebrating Mother’s Day. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, the general manager was professional and attentive, and we were seated right away. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and always prompt with our requests. The food was excellent, and the kitchen did a great job accommodating our special dietary needs. The "Specials" added value to the food selections. The drink menu was well curated, including non-alcoholic beverages, and there was something for everyone. Overall, it was a memorable family celebration, and we look forward to coming back! Michael Rametta Haverhill, MA.
