Taverna is a restaurant utilizing authentic Italian flavors to create memorable dishes. This restaurant is designed from the ground up to be a neighborhood bistro. Taverna is meant to be the kind of restaurant that guests can bring their family for either a casual meal or to celebrate special occasions. While the inside of the restaurant is cozy, the best place to enjoy the great food is out on the wraparound patio.Taverna is open for lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on the weekends. During lunch and dinner service, guests will find a large variety of menu items available. Pasta, soups, salads and pizza are all popular choices. Taverna is also known for their risotto, as an entire section of the menu is devoted to the "risotteria". The signature risotto topped with a simple blend of parmesan cheese and black truffle cream sauce.

Service was not good. Waitress had an attitude from the moment she came to the table and her “helper” had horrible body odor. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. The lounge seating was ok but the temperature was entirely too warm and when we asked our waitress to adjust the temp, she basically said “sorry but this is just how it is in here”.

We had a reservation and were seated at our table immediately. Our server Diana gave us wonderful recommendations for the lobster ravioli and Nutella and Red Velvet cheesecake. One of our favorite date night restaurants!

Dinner exceeded my expectations. Everything was 5 star. Our filet was cooked to perfection. The salads were perfect. Our desserts were pistachio tiramisu, and expresso creme brulee what were unique and delicious. The bead was crispy. I saw the great detail to setting up the tables, polishing the glasses and inspecting them with a light. Professional to a tee. It was our anniversary, and they treated us for our special day. This was the most perfect restaurant I've ever attended. WoW!!!

Rico made our dining experience an exceptional. The food was fresh and fantastic. This location in Austin has such a cool vibe. The music was just the right volume and the staff were extremely attentive. We will definitely return.

it was good we got served the wrong thing but it was okay. service was good , only down side was they charged my card more including tip but i left cash so im a little iffy about that

Really good food service could be a little better but was still good. Ambience of the the place is perfect for a date night or a going out with your friends if your feeling something calm
