Taverna Opa is located on the 2nd floor of Pointe Orlando, conveniently located near the Orange County Convention Center, SeaWorld and Universal Studios theme parks.
Fresh Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with our nightly entertainment has made Taverna Opa the top dining destination in Orlando. Open daily at 11:30am.
Please Park on the 3rd level of the parking garage if possible.
Please note on Fridays and Saturdays and during peak season, reservations after 6:30pm are priority seating not a reservation. What this means is, as soon as your entire party is present, you will be moved onto our seating list and as soon as a table opens for your group, you will be sat. There is usually a wait at that point of a minimum of 30 minutes. *There is a food order minimum for indoor table service Fri & Sat.

    What a fun experience! The food was delicious and the belly dancer was an added bonus. If you like Greek food, I highly recommend you dine here. And being able to easily find parking in the large parking garage was great.

    From the great happy hour service, fun & joyful bartender, to the fabulous foods. It’s a wonderful, enjoyable experience. After a long day, it was a short walk from the convention center - up the stairs - it’s worth it to pass the regulars. It’s like being in Greece! Lamb, chicken, sauces (artichoke), all delicious. Opa!

    Fun place with entertainment and excellent, fresh food. It was crowded so service was spotty but we still had a great time.

    Excellent food, the falafel and the spanakopita were absolutely delicious. Atmosphere was fun and energetic! Would absolutely recommend!

    Wonderful entertainment, very very crowded in a rather small space. Belly dancing was entertaining, however it turned into more of a dance club for twenty somethings. The reservation was honored fairly quickly and we were seated decently. I will say toward the back of the establishment you do miss a fair amount the dancing by the staff belly dancers. There is a wall with window shutters that was put for decoration but other diners had tried to shut for some reason which blocks a good deal of the entertainment. The food is visually appealing and quite good; my wife and I had the Lamb boards, trio of hummus and eggplant spread. The pita bread that accompanied the meals and appetizers was delicious. I had a Greek Mojito, my wife had a glass of dessert wine for beverages both were ok, server couldn’t really recommend a sweet red. Topped it all of with two orders of baklava to go and two Greek coffees. Damage was about $194, including gratuity. They do validate the parking which took about 5 bucks off the garage. Parking during dinner hours is HORRENDOUS so get there early! All said in done I did have a good experience but all the dance club vibe with the younger crowd, killed the ambiance for me. Definitely not a place you can hold a conversation with your party comfortably; even before the dancing begins and you’ll bump tables getting up every time.

    We enjoyed our experience, however I wish they didn’t have to keep the music so loud. I also think my team members and I didn’t like the napkins falling on our food. However I do understand it’s to build excitement but it was not received well by everyone. Overall I would come again with family or friends.
