VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

    One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Our server could not have been more attentive and pleasant. My new favorite place in Oak Brook!

    Loved the live music outside. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Everything is excellent other than we didn’t care for the vegetables and potatoes Intentionally being cold served with the fish. I think that should be clearly disclosed on the menu since it’s weird and really not very appetizing to have hot fish with cold mashed potatoes. Other than that highly recommend everything.

    I had made a reservation weeks prior Mentioned celebrating 2 birthdays Upon arrival Never greeted by host with a welcome Instead head down in books and directed us to our table Server was not very audible considering the establishment was extremely loud Needless to say after we gave our order we did not see her until our plates were cleared Not to mention no offering of dessert or such Giving the fact there was birthdays Horrible experience

    Overall we had a wonderful experience. The food was great and entertainment was wonderful along with the service.

    Service was great. You guys have to change the scam you have going on drinks. You give a very small glass, fill it with a ton of ice, and charge $16 or more. The worst drink experience I’ve had in a long time. Drinks are made well, they taste great, but it’s highway robbery and must change or I won’t be back. I’m not even a big drinker but this is ridiculous. Charge $8 if you’re going to do this.

    Amazing meal! Everything we ordered came quickly and was perfect! Food was delicious and the staff was friendly too!

    Great ambiance and experience restaurant. More of a date/friends night out vs family. Reasonably priced and decent portion sizes. Highly recommend!

    The food was great and our waitress was wonderful , but we had to wait 45 minutes even though we made reservations. I was once late because there was no parking and the valet was gone for at least 15 minutes. The restaurant cancelled my reservation and charged me $25/person. They eventually refunded the money. However, it’s frustrating that there are penalties for customers being late due to lack of parking, but nothing, not even an apology, for making us wait 45 minutes even with a reservation.

    Jacob and his team were very conscientious of our time with friend; they were respectful and not pushy. The new menu additions are outstanding. The chef….I can’t say enough about the options, ingredients and palatable cuisine. This Mediterranean restaurant knows how to entertain, offer the ambience and vibe, serve its customers and keep us coming back!
