VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

    Food was great! Restaurant was very pleasing to the eye! Our waiter was very nice but very forgetful! He made several errors with drinks and forgot our babies food! The desert was delicious and the special occasion sparkler gave a great touch! Valet left our car freezing cold for us!

    Food and service were excellent. The front desk staff was really really good! It was odd that they dim the lights to dinner service level at 2:30 PM and the chicken was a little bit oily that said, really great experience and highly recommended!

    Violi in Oakbrook, IL, offers a dining experience that is a mix of highs and lows. While the food may not have been the highlight of the visit, the ambiance and vibe certainly made up for it. Upon entering Violi, you're immediately struck by the stylish and modern decor. The lighting is warm and inviting, creating a very beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere. The seating is comfortable, and the layout of the restaurant allows for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. The background music is well-chosen, adding to the overall pleasant vibe without being intrusive. The service at Violi is commendable. The staff is attentive and friendly, making sure that guests feel welcome and well taken care of. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. As for the food, it was just okay. I tried the grilled lamb chops, crispy calamari, half roasted chicken, and roasted mushrooms. The grilled lamb chops, unfortunately, lacked flavor and were somewhat disappointing. The crispy calamari was decent but not particularly memorable. On the brighter side, the half roasted chicken and roasted mushrooms were very tasty. The chicken was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, while the mushrooms had a rich, savory flavor that complemented the dish nicely. Despite the food being just average, the overall experience at Violi was enjoyable, thanks to the fantastic ambiance and vibe. It's a great place to go. If the restaurant can elevate the quality of its food to match its ambiance, it would have been top notch. In summary, Violi is worth a visit for its wonderful atmosphere and excellent service, even if the every dish doesn't quite hit the mark.

    Octopus was amazing as was the seafood pasta and the chopped salad. Waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. Will be back. Great evening out with a dear friend.

    We took my god daughter and her boyfriend here for dinner and we all had an amazing time. Coming from a Greek background, I wanted to try this restaurant to see how the food was and it was amazing. They took certain traditional meals and mixed it up with a twist and we were all very impressed. It’s a shorter menu selection but the food was excellent and our server Constantine and other staff gave impeccable service. We will definitely be returning.

    Good service. Great Branzino. Seafood pasta was average or meh, not nearly as good as the lobster dish from the summer. Bring it back! Octopus was good but overpriced. Good wine pairing. Great dessert. Solid bartender & service. Biggest issue is value. To spend $275 on a dinner for 2 on Tuesday night is TOO MUCH.

    Love Violi. Always so good. The server was very attentive. The patio is very well insulated. It didn’t even feel like we were outside.
