VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

    As usual, excellent food and, also as usual, spectacular service from not only our waitstaff, but from a team of other waiters and waitresses who helped with the menu, cleaned up a spill, brought water, etc. first class experience.

    The place is nice but they sit us in the middle of heater, we feel like we are burning alive while eating.

    Octopus was rubbery. Had to send back. Orange cake dessert was overrated. Loukoumathes were like churrios. Music was too loud in bar area seating for dinner.

    One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Our server could not have been more attentive and pleasant. My new favorite place in Oak Brook!

    Loved the live music outside. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Everything is excellent other than we didn’t care for the vegetables and potatoes Intentionally being cold served with the fish. I think that should be clearly disclosed on the menu since it’s weird and really not very appetizing to have hot fish with cold mashed potatoes. Other than that highly recommend everything.

    Love! Love! We sat on the terrace and it was absolutely beautiful! The atmosphere, the service, the food. Entrees we had the lamb shank with risotto, Deconstructed Pastitsio, Chicken with roasted potatoes. Apps the charred Octopus. The Bougatsa and Walnut & Banana Cake for dessert was fabulous! Hector provided outstanding service. Every part of the evening was a great experience! Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

    I had made a reservation weeks prior Mentioned celebrating 2 birthdays Upon arrival Never greeted by host with a welcome Instead head down in books and directed us to our table Server was not very audible considering the establishment was extremely loud Needless to say after we gave our order we did not see her until our plates were cleared Not to mention no offering of dessert or such Giving the fact there was birthdays Horrible experience
