Tavernonna celebrates the rich, varied history of Italian food, wine, and cocktails by using fresh, simple ingredients to create both traditional and contemporary dishes that entice the senses. Sourcing ingredients from local farms and vendors, and creates fresh pasta from scratch to be showcased throughout the menu, giving the restaurant a clear sense of its locality while honoring the distinctive ingredients rooted in Italy.

The staples of every Tavernonna dish embody ambition, passion, heritage, creativity, style, and inspirational local culture and knowledge. Restaurant and hotel guests can anticipate playful dishes such as spaghetti all’amatriciana, brisket meatballs with black currants and roman gnocchi and house-made ravioli with goat cheese, tomato fondutta, and mint pesto.

Valet parking is validated at Hotel Phillips for up to 2 hours for all Tavernonna patrons.

                                      We made a valentine's reservation and when we did, I looked at the site to see if there was a fixed menu for the night, as I know many restaurants choose to do that for holidays. Since there wasn't one, we were excited to try many of their pasta dishes! But when we arrived for our reservation, we were given a fixed menu with only 3 options- none of which were pasta. Very disappointing for an ITALIAN restaurant. When I told the hostess the menu wasn't posted on their site or anything saying there would be a fixed menu, she said it was up to the chef and he only wanted to do those dishes that night. I understand doing a fixed menu, but you should forewarn your customers. Once we arrived and found this out, we didn't really have any other options on Valentine's night. We were sat very close to the door which was extremely cold, even though there were many other tables open. We also ordered a bottle of white wine, which came out cold, but not wrapped or in a chiller so it just sat on the table getting warm while we ate. It was overall very disappointing. We won't be back.

                                      Pleasant ambience and good food. Staff were friendly and pleasant but did not offer drinks or ask if we wanted more once we had finished our meal. Overall a good experience, but the service could use some improving.

                                      I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. The entire experience was disappointing. The wait staff was slow and hard to get their attention. The food was mediocre. I’m will not be returning.

                                      First of all the bartender was our server. So he only came over to take our order and then we never saw him again. The order of the food was wrong, and just the lack of care taken to us was poor. The hostess was the best part of the experience.

                                      Poor service overall. Took over 5 minutes to even be greeted by the hostess. Told multiple times it was going to be a wait because things just weren’t going well. Took until the 3rd course to get my husbands drink when it was ordered first. Food was alright, but not great for the price. We won’t be back.

                                      Wonderful 5 course meal for Restaurant Week! Service impeccable and everyone was exceptionally friendly. Would recommend this for date night anytime.

                                      Very good!!! Everything we ordered was really good! I asked for the gluten free pasta option to be subbed on one of the main entrees and it was delicious!!! My husband ate his entire bowl of pasta! We live one block away from there found out they DoorDash and also found out they make an incredible gluten-free pizza! We will be ordering and visiting again very soon!!

                                      Disappointed. You don’t need reservations as it probably never gets busy due to the service and poor quality. It took over 20 minutes for our daughter to receive a sprite. My order was brought out wrong. We had two Alfredo dishes and one of them was so thick like velveeta cheese while the other was buttery and runny. She said she would take my order off the bill but she only took off 20%. It’s expensive and the quality of food was not impressive. At the end of dinner, the waitress brought out my correct order when we were done eating.

                                      While the food was good, it seemed overpriced for the portion size. We waited at least 20-25 minutes after being seated before the wait staff greeted us. They were out of many menu items. It took nearly 30 minutes for the entrees to arrive. We had to ask for refills. The overall experience was very disappointing.

                                      Terrible Caesar salad. Dry, “out of a bag” not mixed with dressing, no anchovies. Ordered cheese pizza. The sauce tasted like it was out of a can, huge amount of cheese - couldn’t eat it. At least the crust was crunchy. Will never go back.
