From delicious selection of Antipasti to Traditional Italian wood-fired pizza, and amazing Pasta dishes Teatro caters for all guests. Whether a quick dinner before a show at the arts centre, a wine or cocktail with the river view or a lunch before heading to the art gallery or the gardens of our beautiful city.

It was a great place to eat for Christmas lunch. We arrived about 45 minutes early and they accommodated us by getting a table for us straight away. Even though the menu was limited, it was very good for choice. The food was cooked beautifully and the staff were very attentive. The menu pricing was reasonable for a Christmas Day. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will be going again in the new year.

beautiful location overlooking the Yarra. Food was overpriced for what you get. Teatro signature bread , $15, just a giant puffed up flat bread. Veal Scallopini with rocket and parmesan ( $38 ) 3 small pieces of veal , a handful of rocket and a teaspoon of grated parmesan. Nothing special. Service was slow, but they were very busy.

4 of us enjoyed a lovely dinner at Teatro. Our main meals, entree foccacia and tiramusu for dessert were fabulous. All staff were helpful and friendly but our waiter was exceptional. He made a great dining experience even better. Look forward to dining there again when next in the city. A perfect restaurant to dine at before attending a show at the arts centre. Highly recommend.

It was a lovely experience except for the volume of the music made it hard to hear each other. Bathrooms were dirty.

Lovely meal with great service. Our only concern was the music was a bit too loud. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening thank you 😊

Teatro is my favourite Melbourne restaurant, especially pre theatre or show. When you sit at the counter you can see your dinner cooked in front of you. The service is excellent, attentive and not intrusive. The menu is not too big so they serve the food they know they do well.
